Lufthansa Systems selects Becker Avionics ATC Solutions for their ground-to-air radio system upgrade

Mar 2, 2015 – Becker Avionics’ IP-based, ground-to-air radio solution replaces the Lufthansa Systems aging radios with modern state-of-the-art digital radios in compliance with the European 8.33 kHz channel spacing mandate. The system will be based on the Becker Avionics TG560 VHF transmitters along with the new RS560 single-channel VHF receivers. The solution provides improved system functionality and flexibility for the operator. Additionally, the new system offers enhanced reliability and reduced integration work and wiring. In addition to the new radio system, the user will benefit from the latest intercom technology provided by Becker’s solution partner, Schneider Intercom.

Becker Avionics delivers ADF3500 system for the Tecnam P2010

Formula 1 Race Hockenheim: high speed on the ground, safe operations in the air thanks to Becker ATC Solutions

Jul 21,2014 – Becker Avionics helped to ensure safe air operations for helicopters covering the Formula 1 Grand Prix Santander of Germany 2014 from 18 to 20 July 2014 in Hockenheim, by providing its 8.33 kHz compliant VHF radio solution, the TG560 base station. The TG560 is a high-performance VHF Multichannel 20W Transceiver designed for ground to air communication at airfields, airports, airlines and control centres and is duly approved by the German air navigation services.
